The Team

Dr. Jimmy Todd is a lifetime resident of Laurens. He has maintained a private practice in the city of Laurens for more than thirty years. He is a graduate of Presbyterian College and the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine. Upon receiving his DMD degree, he worked at Richland Co. Health Department as a staff dentist for three years in Columbia, SC. He later opened his own private practice in his hometown of Laurens. Dr. Todd is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Greenville Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Rotary Club in Laurens. Dr. Todd offers a wide variety of dental services to meet the needs of his patients, while maintaining a personal, caring relationship with them. While some dentists advertise cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Todd believes that all good dentistry is cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Todd is married to the former Susan Chandler of Columbia, and has two adult sons. 

Jan is a lifetime resident of Laurens County. She politely handles the appointments, billing and insurance needs of the patients, and is CPR certified. Jan has been an employee of Dr. Todd’s for over 18 years. She is married to Barry Templeton and they have one adult son.

Zelda is a lifetime resident of Laurens County. She has been assisting Dr. Todd for over 30 years, and is certified in Dental Radiography and CPR. She is married to John McClintock and they have two children and two grandchildren. 

Debbie is a resident of Laurens, and she is a graduate of Greenville Technical College. She is certified in Dental Radiography and CPR. Debbie was employed by Dr. Todd many years ago, before moving to Columbia, where she continued with her dental assisting career for 25 years. After returning to her hometown of Laurens, she rejoined our dental team. She is married to Charlie Gibbs and they have two sons and three grandchildren. 

Melody is a resident of Laurens. She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College, and is a registered Dental Hygienist. Melody is also CPR certified, and has been an employee of Dr. Todd’s for over 30 years. She is married to Congressman Jeff Duncan and they have three sons. 

Renee is a lifetime resident of Laurens. She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College and is licensed to practice Dental Hygiene and Dental Radiography. Renee is CPR certified, and has been employed by Dr. Todd for over 15 years. She was a childhood patient of Dr. Todd’s. She is married to John Jones and they have three daughters.
